In my search through life’s peaks and valleys I’ve discovered that faith in Jesus Christ, devotion to God’s Word, Christ-like integrity, and a firm commitment to Gospel work are the true foundations for contentment and success. I Pastor a Southern Baptist Church in Kentucky—I write original devotional works—I edit/update (into modern English) the timeless works of the Puritans, and other spiritual giants from the past—All to the glory of God and His kingdom, I pray.
A Bit More About Me
Hello, again! As you know...my name is Ron.
I am a follower of Christ, grateful husband, and proud dad.
I have spent the last three decades in full-time pastoral ministry and am currently serving as pastor at Roland Memorial Missionary Baptist Church in Greenville, Kentucky.
My segue into Christian publishing began with the release of my first book “Echoes of Thunder: A Collection Of Christian Quotes And Godly Wit” in 2021 through CrossLink Publishing. Since then, I have written and published five additional works (see Homepage for further details), with a sixth…soon-to-be-released through Aneko Press (“The Strait Way To Heaven” 2025).
In 2024 I began posting social media content under the moniker “Reformed Archeology” (@reformedarcheology) and also began publishing the free quarterly e-magazine “Did You Know?” via my website: <https://www.ron-metheny.com/didyouknow>
